Beijing SOIL has acquired an order from Ecuador's TP hydropower station and will supply a variety of instruments such as “piezometer” and “earth pressure cell” to the TP hydropower station in Ecuador.

Ecuador TP Dam

TP hydropower station is located in Pichincha Province, Ecuador, belonging to high-altitude area. Diversion work for two power generation projects, first grade hydropower station installed 49 MW and the second one installed 204 MW. Main buildings are as following: 16-kilometer diversion tunnel, concrete gravity dam(133-meter and 20-meter height), underground plant and discharge tunnel, etc. Project was total invested 269 million dollars, began to work in May 2011 and predicted to be finished in 2016.

TOACHI dam was designed 59-meter high and 172.5-meter axis length. There are total 9 dam sections, all belonging to concrete gravity dam. Total installed capacity is 254.4 thousand KW and designed annual energy output is 1.1 billion KWH, is one of eight hydropower stations in Ecuador under construction.
